The Pennsylvania American Water (PAW) - Ceasetown & Watres District, a subsidiary of American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK), provides water for about 51,812 residents living in the area of Norristown, Pennsylvania. Established in 1886, the Pennsylvania American Water – Ceasetown & Watres District is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of surface water sources: Ceasetown Reservoir and Harvey’s Creek via the Ceasetown Water Treatment Plant (WTP); and Watres Reservoir and two supplemental surface water sources: Mill Creek Reservoir and Gardner Creek Reservoir via the Watres WTP.
