Established in 1922, the Laurens Commission of Public Works System currently obtains its supply of surface water from Lake Rabon, owned and operated by the Laurens County Water and Sewer Commission, located on SC Hwy 252 approximately eight miles west of the Water Treatment Facility in Laurens.
