The City of Elizabethton Water, under the City Utilities Department, provides water for about 32,843 residents living in the area of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Established in 1799, the City of Elizabethton Water currently obtains its supply from four sources: Hampton Spring, Valley Forge Spring, Big Springs and Watauga River Regional Water Authority.
