The Parker Water & Sanitation District (PWSD) provides water for about 52,175 residents living in the area of Parker, Colorado. Established in 1962, the Parker Water & Sanitation District is currently obtaining its supply from a blend of sources: water stored in Rueter–Hess Reservoir, an off‐stream reservoir, which stores renewable water from the following sources: Cherry Creek (surface water & alluvial well water), Newlin Gulch and reclaimed water from PWSD.
